One of the most fashionable brands that we carry at L and I - The Creative Habit just got awarded the coveted Stockholm Elle Style Accessories, yes of course I'm talking about Rika. She makes amazing clothes and accessories, with the star as her signature.

Swedish born stylist turned designer, Ulrika Lundgren, has been awarded the coveted Stockholm Elle Style Accessories award for her brand Rika. Lundgrens beautiful eclectic mix of embossed chemical free leather pieces, were first inspired by her grandmothers passion for creating things and soon went onto being the basis of the brand that launched in 2005 and is now stocked globally in stores such as L and I-The Creative Habit, Opening Ceremony, Harvey Nichols and Shop At Bluebird.
Rika's use of cool hues and shapes capture and excite. The attention to details and determination to communicate effortless style ensures that the Rika girl is never out of touch. The now instantly recognisable star symbol that embellishes each piece, nods to a bygone era and always looks to inspire the inner Hollywood starlet and the hidden sleeping rock star inside the Rika wearer.
This award is an accolade to the diverse mix of areas the Rika brand has now evolved into. Not only has the collection evolved from accessories into apparel but also into the magazine arena. Rika's seasonal magazine embodies the ideologies and ethos of the customer as well as Lundgrens point of view, with contributors such as Karl Lagerfeld it reiterated the impact the label has had on the fashion scene.
This award marks the start of what is set to be a busy year for the label and Lundgren.
