The Satorialist likes girls in shoes from Melissa Plastic Dreams

I hope that you are familiar with the brand Melissa plastic dreams that we carry at L and I. If not it's a Brazilian footwear label that makes their shoes in "smell-good" plastic, and it's not any scent...do you remember those rubbers that all kids collected and the smelled amazing? That's exactly the scent, and it newer goes out. I've had my Vivienne Westwood+Melissa boots for over a year and I still smell them every day. They are also very practical since they are made out of plastic so you will never have to bother about rainy days. Melissa is best known for its collaboration with Vivienne Westwood (we have their boots in the shop...and soon we will get more colours).

When I browsed The Satorialist the other day I saw a girl in shoes from Melissa, that's fun to discover! By the way The Satorialist was selected as one of the Time Magazine's Top 100 Design Influences.

You should check out his blog and check out the beautuful girl in Melissa shoes, it was posted on Thursday, August 26, 2010 and taken on Eighth St., New York

Lina Sandberg from Metromode showed them last week and I wrote about it, check it out HERE
